I ran across a unopened case of this copperwashed 7.62x39 ammo, (1200 rounds) and a case of the copperwashed 223 also.(1000 rounds). Bought them for $100 per case, but I don't know anything about these rounds. Anybody have some infromation they can share with me? Both cases are Norinco brand. Is it just blasting ammo or is it better than that?

As far as I'm concerned it's blasting ammo, I had some in .308 and it wouldn't work in my HK91. It would shoot but after every round I had to cycle the action, wierd thing was it would dump out an unfired round. Gave up on it and traded it to a friend that had an FAL that ate it up.

I don't think they even import it anymore, save some as a conversation piece.

Norinco is about the same quality-wise as Wolf. Back in the days before Wolf, I used Norinco almost exclusively for my SKS and Makarov.
