Once read an article about guys hunting red deer in the Urals.. used a Soviet made Medved carbine in 9.3mm or something.. looked like a cross between a Simonov and a Dragunov. Very ugly but it worked.

Before you go, make sure you know the politic and that your insurance is paid up. Health care over there is a little sketchy.

"...the Ukraine..." Isn't Russia anymore. "...an experience to remember for a lifetime..." Gotta agree with that though. I just wonder what the airfare to get there would be like and what airline flies there. I'd guess the flight would cost more than the hunt.
