Okay, ex-Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura is going to be a host in a new talk show on MSNBC.
He announced this recently on the The Tonight Show with Johnny... err. Jay Leno.
He said that after he was mayor, he went and got a radio show, and then ran for governor. Now, after he was governor, he's getting a TV show, and...(maybe he'll run for higher office) :D
I like his gun stance... something to the effect that he and others like AR-15s because that is what they used in the military.
And here is another quote when then-governor Ventura was on the Chris Matthews show...
In response to a question by a young college student concerning gun control laws, the 2nd Amendment, and the possible curtailing of hunting activities, the irascible and unpredictable Ventura shook his massive finger at the query and said something very similar to this,
"The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution has nothing at all to do with hunting rights. No, (shaking finger) the purpose of the 2nd Amendment was to guarantee that people could keep and bear arms in order that they might prevent unscrupulous governments from becoming too oppressive!"
Anyone here from Minnesota sad that Ventura is not governor? I like what he says when he's on the tube...
