This weekend I picked up a used TRP Operator and light for a good price. Now my question is who makes holsters for it?

Here's one: http://www.desantisholster.com/057.html

I'm sure any of the finer makers such as Milt Sparks, Lou Alessi and others could custom make pretty much anything you like.

You looking for IWB or OWB?

The Safariland 6004 seems to be the standard by which all others are judged for a drop leg holster.

Something about this pistol that begs for a nice tactical thigh holster.... :D

Any other ideas?

Anyone have experience with the Desantis above?

I am looking for a OWB. I would like a thigh holster for the thing. I have looked real hard at G-Code's SOC, but have not found anyone that sells one.

Well, for a thigh holster, you'd probably want to go with the Safariland 6004, as I said above.

For OWB, I'm not sure.....depends on what you want and need it for.

Leather, I'd definitely recommend Milt Sparks or Lou Alessi.

Other than that, I'm not sure....

Do you need this for duty?

contact Scott at:
Edge Works Manufacturing
Jacksonville, North Carolina
Voice: 910 455 9834

or Scott@tacticalholsters.com

Edge Works manufactures the holster and will sell direct.
I have a Springfield Operator that I carry in that same holster. There are different cowlings for using the weapon with or without a light. I used the 6004 prior to that. Both good holsters. Some don't like the spring loaded mechanism in the Soc Rig. It hasn't failed me yet.

I called Scott and have one on order. Like I said it is more to play with than duty use. I am not a LEO.

The old saying goes.."got a ten dollar head, get a ten dollar helmet."
You have a quality firearm, regardless of on-duty or range work, use a quality holster.
Let us know how it works out....
