My last instructor liked his a lot (he had a Wilderness) and I seen other guys carry and like them.

I've got a Bianchi that fits all my USPs, 1911s, Glocks, and Berettas. It's what I bought for my 1st IDPA match. It works ok. Reholstering could be easier and if you draw just right, the front sight snags :fire: Okay for a starter holster.

I've discovered over the years that if a holster is advertised to fit several guns, it fits nothing well.

Universal holsters universally suck. Get a real holster.

I've had good luck with both my Wilson Adjuster and SOE Gear thigh rig.

But maybe this is asking for too much.

A universal holster isn't going to replace fitted holsters for your guns, but I love my Uncle Mike's Sidekick. Of course I have to adjust the thumb break for different guns, but what do you expect for $15? If for some reason you need to travel light, a holster that fits all your handguns may come in handy. l use mine for a Beretta 92 and a 4" wheelgun.

"Universal" holsters like the SOE or a bellyband style that provide full coverage for the pistol can work really well for certain pistols. But the "skeleton" coverage fits-all you have pictured there really doesn't work well (for anything I've tried).

Heck, that SOE is downright nice... I wish I'd gone with them over my Blackhawk... (but I digress). ;)

We've been using Passport Hi-Ride's (a pancake nylon type). Fits just about everything we have.

Not as much stability as I lke for CCW but for range work where we're rotating through 8 or 10 guns they've been great.

I think I got them for less than $20 bucks new at the surplus store.
