Does anyone know of a way to lighten the trigger? I am using one for bowling pin shoots on rimfire night and need all the help I can get!:D

Which Buckmark do you have?

I be curious to know how many rounds you have through it. Mine started to lighten up after about 500 -750 rounds and continued to get better up through about 1200 rounds. In other words, you might want to shoot it a while if it's new before you mess with the trigger.

Like ponyexpress mentioned...it took some shooting, but my Buckmark Standard is quite a bit better now after running some ammo thru the gun.
I've probably run 1,500 rounds thru the gun now.
I don't know of a "trigger job" for the Buckmark. You could check on rimfirecentral.com:

If you REALLY want a light trigger, I might suggest a change of gun if you need more trigger than "lots of shooting" can give you.
The least expensive "gun switch option" I can think of....
You can buy an inexpensive Ruger Mk2 or 22/45 (new or used) and add a Volquartsen sear and Clark trigger at "On-Target" for $56.90 installed plus...$2.50 return shipping. You will need to figure in your shipping out to "On-Target" but that (using USPS Priority Mail w/Delivery Confirmation)should be less than $8-10.00...you just send out the lower.
It'll be a sweet trigger when 'Ol Bill get's finished. He's done four Rugers for me.
I don't work there or own the shop, but I like his work.

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I have about 600 rounds through my nickel Camper so far. I will continue to shoot it; I may look at that Ruger option, though.

How uch lighter do you need the trigger??
I have a Buckmark and the trigger is so light on it(from the factory) it could go off if the wind blows!
