I am looking at purchasing a Sig 220 Sport, But would like to hear opinions on the Sig good or bad.:)

I have no experience with the Sport model other than handling it but I do have experience with The 220 and 220ST.

I personally have never had a problem with a 220. I love them. My favorite handgun by far. I currently own a 220ST and have not had one iota of a problem with it.

The cons are really that the 220 is a pretty big gun and the stainless versions are quite heavy. I personally like that but it can be a CON. The Sport models seemed very heavy to me and I have heard they are a pain to clean.

Other than that I really can't think of too many bad things to say about the 220. Bore axis is a little high, magazines are pricey, not very left hand friendly that is about it.

I have never had a problem with a SIG rusting or cracking and those are the two most common things I hear about the older SIGs.
