I do not know a lot about these. I have seen the 'law enforcement' model with the bipod. My question is can you put a bipod on the 10fcm model? If so, what is the best model bipod and where can they be purchasec/ordered?
many thanks...

As long as the rifle has a front sling stud (which i'm sure the scout does) you will be able to install a bipod. My preference (and many others) are the series of pods made by Harris. They can be had in various heights to suit your shooting needs and can be ordered from just about anywhere...I got mine from Brownells.

I have a Harris Model LM that I use on my Savage Scout on occasion. I dont have it on there all the time. It works well and is a good height( 9-13" +/- ) for prone shooting. It is spring loaded to "shoot out" and lock at preset positions, instead of having to adjust and tighten like some. Sportsmans Guide had them a little while back for around $60, which was the cheapest of any Harris bipods I've seen.
