Howdy ,

Looking for a little help on the differances of a 29-3 Silhoutte vs the same gun as a classic.It has a 6" barrel.The local gun shop took it in as a trade and notified me of it,but I haven't seen it yet.:eek:

I think that was the model with the 4 position adjustable front sight. You could set each position for one of the 4 different ranges in silhoutte shooting. Once you had the adjustments set and locked in, you could switch between them by hand. Nice set up and it really doesn't take away from the classic lines of a model 29.

I went and saw it,and,Oh,Man!..That is one pretty pistol:D Adjustable front sights with a rachet wheel,6/6.5" full underlugged barrel,NON-fluted cylinder,all in beautiful polished blue finish,square butt with rubber grips,Very nice,and I used the suppiled revolver check out tips that where supplied on this forum,and she's tight as drum!What a wonderfull trigger!It came in on consignment and I got it for $475,How did I do? Can anyone tell me more from the serial #? AYH21XX
By the way,its a -3,with fireing pin on the hammer!
