Can anyone tell me about this scope? I'm interested in buying one because of their price ($35 with rings). I'm looking at the 3-9x32 model but can anyone tell me if I should be looking at the fixed 4x as well? I'll be using this to plink at the range inside of 100 yards.

I have the Simmons .22 mag on my Marlin 25mn, also a .22 mag. I previously had it mounted on my Remington Speedmaster.Seems like a good deal. It is tons ahead of the small diameter scopes offered for .22s.
Groundhogs around here don't like it tho, that is, the ones that can still talk.
I was going to add the little smiley face, but haven't figured out how to do that yet.

That is the exact set up I have. However, since I bought my CZ the 597 sees very little daylight. The set up works well.

I put one on one of my 10/22's years agoa nd have been happy with it. Actually got min free with some Simmon promotion. :p For what i use it for - range plinking - it's more than enuff.
