Where is the best source for picatinny rail material? I'm not looking for a finished rail for a particular weapon, but rather just some raw material that can be cut into different sizes and used in a project.

Bought mine from Brownells. The maker is Moulds. Be prepared though....the steel rail stock isn't cheap. A 12 inch piece of stock cost me something like, $80 if I recall. Aluminum is cheaper.
