Hi! My name is Frosty and I'm a S&W-holic.

THR Chorus ---> Hi Frosty!

I walked into one of the local gun stores tonight, coffee coollotta in hand, fully intending to stay on the wagon. The owner, upon seeing me approach, probably pretty much in Condition White, places his arms very obtrusively, and probably with malice aforethought, on top of a few pieces of firearm. Looked kinda like a S&W k-frame. He stared at me like a pro Bass fisherman trying to set his hook in a championship fish.

He succeeded.

"Whatcha got there?" I asked. Oh yes, the hook was set.

He pulled back his arms to reveal a virtually NIB Smith & Wesson Model 48-4. With BOTH cylinders. For those of you who may not be familiar with this model, it's a k-frame in .22 Magnum. Comes with an auxiliary .22LR cylinder. Looks like a 1982 manufacture date, just after they did away with the pinned barrel. Condition was somewhere between NIB and excellent.

Should I?
