Well in just a few minutes according to the intro.
I can't believe this hack gets airtime. I have always liked Letterman, but I just lost all respect for him.

OK, here are the highlights for those who couldn't bear to watch.
1. Discussion of getting booed off the stage for his remarks about Bush at the Oscars. Big laughs between him and Letterman. Seems like a big joke to them. Lots of cheering from the crowd. :barf:
2. Why did he make Farenheit 9/11? Because the networks are in bed with the Bush administration and weren't asking the tough questions. The networks were putting a positive spin on everything. He had to make sure the truth got out. More cheers from the crowd. :banghead:
3. When asked if the facts were accurate and indisputable, Moore replied "Yes, my information came from lots of reliable sources like the New York Times"
4. Letterman kept asking him over and over about the accuracy of his facts to which Moore always replied "Yes, no one could come in here and refute me. I will debate anyone on this." They seemed to be trying to make up peoples minds before they see the movie.
The one high point; Letterman asked him why Disney/Miramax had pulled the plug on the movie. His answer, " They watched it" :D

Thanks, Garett. You've provided a valuable service. I don't have to hunt up the remote to catch this and now can watch Leno in peace. Doesn't sound worth the effort.

Moore on Letterman? That makes 2 reasons not to watch Letterman.
Dennis Miller's on Leno so there's reason #3 not to watch Letterman.
Letterman has sucked since he didn't get the Tonight Show gig and got all bitter.

[QUOTE]my information came from lots of reliable sources like the New York Times"
Now that's a joke right???
That paper has got to be one of the most biased rags in the country!

It's true! All the stuff in the NYT that isn't plagiarized or outright fabricated is true!

Those of you that watched it must admit that the NYT comment brought a LOT of chuckles from the audience AND Dave too. They KNOW about the NYT, but still find it necessary to go along.
I give Dave credit. I think down inside he knows Moore is a gasbag and a cruel joke, but the people who schedule the show are the ones that decide who comes on...just like the "music" talents that come on... It's beyond his paygrade to decide on a daily basis who shows up. The Moore creature will be on EVERY show on TV for a while to promo his garbage... Just like when Ann Coulter shows up, they are just making the rounds to promote their latest..
I think Dave is a bit more conservative deep down inside than he lets on. Still, he has to pander to the mob for the show to be a success... IT was obvious to me that he was NOT all that happy to have the mooreslob on his show.

What did you expect ??? Moore is a left leaning gas bag of Pus. and Letterman is a left leaning butt wrinkle. If you spend 5 minutes on Letterman you will see that he is pretty far to the left . He runs a lot of things that are Anti-Bush and almost nothing that is against Kerry or the Democraps. But then again he is in New York and they have Hillary as a perfect Model of Fairness and Balance. I don't watch Letterman any more. He's just getting lame. And I'm tired of being insulted by Him. He thinks that anybody that doesn't think like he thinks is an Idiot. Bye Bye Dave !!! :barf:

I believe that Moore and Letterman are both cut from the same bolt of cloth. I stopped watching Letterman a long time ago and I sure as hell don't believe ANYTHING that Moore says.

You're welcome cordex, being in the slow Indiana time zone has it's advantages huh? ;)
This thing was so disturbing, I just had to go to the range today. After 100 rds of 45ACP, 50 rds of 22LR, 25 rds of 380ACP in my friends new Kel-Tec, and another 20 rounds through a Ruger 10/22 converted to .17 Aguila, I feel much better.
Now I'm off to char broil some Angus and wash it down with an adult beverage. It's been an anti Liberal day and I feel good.:p :D

I used to like Letterman. I used to like the NYT. I've never liked Moore. Some things change, some don't.
