I know where there is one setup for 12 guage and one in 20 guage. whats the value on these ?

Back in the 60's and 70's the "Ponseys" were the best shotshell loaders made and I had one in each caliber for loading for myself, police department and friends.

Paul any idea on the value? i can buy both with the fundage i have available but i'd keep the 12 guage model and sell off the 20.

It has been so long I have forgotten and I would check the net to see if they are still made and parts available. Another way is to check as recent as possible Gun Digests where all the sporting goods manufacturers are listed including myself and see if they are still listed.

If the tools are a steal then a machinist can make small parts if needed as long as the machines are complete and operational now so there is something to copy.

Find a shotgun oriented list and ask there and there is a shotgun thread site here. The Firing Line List is active again so ask around.

I responded because your question brought back memories.

I would not buy anything that is not operational now unless you already have a PW and want spare parts or a caliber conversion kit.

Ponsness warren is still around i'm going to call them monday. if parts are still available i intend to buy them both and sell off the 20 guage model. i have a nornico 97 on layaway i'll need to be able to feed it alot of 00 buck!
