I have had this pistol for a couple months now and I think I noticed these markings before but didn't think much of it. Can someone tell me what they are for?

This pic shows where the marking are, on the gun.

This is a close up pic of the markings themselves.

I'll look on mine to see if I have the same markings.

I assume it is to identify who (as in which employee of CZ) made the frame or inspected it.

No one employee "makes" frames; it is probably an inspection mark.

Mine has a similar mark. Probably some kind of proof or inspection mark, maybe showing all parts matched and the pistol was test fired?

I always assumed they were part numbers.

E-mail http://www.cz-usa.com/ , and ask. I have no clue, otherwise.
