I tried to reload these once fired cases on my 650 and 550 and every other round the old primer would hang up while in the decapping stage, seems the decapping pin is protruding far enough out and I can't crank down the Dillion dies any further?I have a ton of this once fired brass would like to get some use outta it,does anyone have a clue whats going on here.If I run the brass thru stage one a few times the primer finally comes out.

Check the decapping pin for a build up of gunk or a bur, such things will hang onto a primer and darn near reseat them! Ask me how I know.

Sounds like you have a pierced primer on the end of the decapping rod.

This is always a problem with 40 for some reason. The solution is simple. You primer pin is simply sticking into the primer and pushing it out then pulling it back in. Take a file to the primer pin a make it a little "pointier". 10 seconds with a file and your problem is gone. I cant even tell you how common this is. I thik it might even be a "FAQ" on Dillons site due to how common a problem it is.
