Mostly just for my information, (but also for unbearably geeky debate points) I'm trying to get a feel for approximately how many bows are manufactured in the U.S. every year. Since they're not required by law to report to anyone, there's no cheat sheet that I've found yet. Obviously it's much harder if you consider stuff beyond the big corporations like Horton, PSE, Browning Archery, and so on. Anyone have any good ideas where to look, or a ballpark figure for a big manufacturer's yearly output?

You may be best off to use statistics, and just do a random survey. Classify big companies and small ones, figure an average production for big co's, and again for small. Then do a random survey to figure out the average percentage of each type of producer. I know I can't cite formulas for you off-hand, as even on my statistics tests we were allowed formula sheets, but there should be plenty of web-sites with the formulas, and Excel has a great little statistics function tool built in.
