My first 10mm
G. Glock

Took delivery on my GSSF G29 this week. Shot about 100 rounds through it yesterday using three different magazines. No malfunctions, just smooth operating.
I think I like it.
As you can see from the pic attached, I had to get out the sledgehammer and anvil to do some gunsmithing on it, however. :-)

I sold my 10mm a few years ago thinking I wa done w/ it. Now, I'm contemplating re-entering the arena w/ a Glock 20  Congrats on the new 29!

quick question.
Is that 29 a sub compact 10mm? I guess I thought the only 10mm that Glock made was the 20.
hmmmm, sub compact. 10mm. What else could you ask for?

Man you in trouble BIG TIME. One 10mm is never enough! Next a S&W 610 revolver and then a Colt Delta Elite or a Para Ordnance P-16 reamed to 10mm.......yep...you are in trouble my friend!

... walks into the light of 10mm ownership!
BTW, if you haven't figured it out by reading this forum, TFL, GT 10-Ring, Bren Ten, et al but the 10mm seems to be accompanied by a particular virus, that encourages the individual to go out and buy yet more and more 10mm Auto pistols.
It's not fatal, just a little draining on the budget.

more and more 10mm Auto pistols.
... and reloading equipment to take full advantage of the 10mm.

Good for you!
I gave up on the G20s; they just do not fit my hand. The S&W M1086 i just got is perfect however.
10 mm rules in autos!!

The 10mm Glocks are the way to go!
Have a G20 witha 6" KKM hunting barrel for deer and hog. 2-3" groups at 50 yards offhand with target sights with tritium insert on the front.
I'd love a G29. Congrats.
But I already have a G32 and G33 in 357 sig so I have some punch.
Make sure to get a Wolff steel recoil rod and some extra power recoil springs - maybe 20-22-24 pounders and see how your G29 performs with your carry ammo.
Might I suggest 175 grain Silvertips?
The hottest 10mm ammo still out there. Although some folks have a couple thousand rounds of Norma in the safe;)

Congrats on the G-29.
Otherwise, I'll defer to what my man, Duncan, said.
The Winchester 10mm/175gn STHPs are toasty, but you might want to try a few boxes of the 4 different 10mm loads that Texas Ammo offers.
