I know what everybody thinks about Century guns but I may have gotten a good one.
My local gunshop, Larry's in Hunsville, put Century Cetme/G3's on sale this month for $333.00. I couldn't resist, I bought one. Of the 5 he had left on the shelf I got the best one. The fit and finish are the best I've seen on any Century gun. Only the Bolt doesn't look new. The barrel looks new and the rifling sharp. The finish looks more like Gunkote than enamel, not sure what it is. The welds are clean and even. The magazine that came with it was the only thing covered in Cosmoline (thank God). I think it was added by Larry's. The pics I'll attempt to attach are from a cheap camera and are examples of poor photography. The rifle looks much better.

I only test fired it with one magazine full of ammo. It fed and functioned flawlessly. I did not test for accuracy but all my shots seemed to hit where I wanted them to go. I'll be sighting it in later this coming week. Recoil was no worse than an M-1 Carbine. Scary part is that if it continues as well as it has started I'll favor it over my FAL in short order.
Loving this rifle.
