Being a leftie, I'm not all that keen on brass hittin' me, but I think the deflectors get in the way of visibility, which is probably more annoying.
Where's the control switch for the laser? Do I have to turn it on in front, or is there a control by the trigger so my hands don't have to leave their positions?

That's not a stock front sight either. Do you know if it came from Blueforce Gear (http://www.blueforcegear.com) ?
Also, do you know where the laser/light mount came from?
