Wa - did you get my reply to your last pm with the address for the gunshop? I've been out of touch for a few days in beautiful Yemen. Thanks.

Since this is the Wild Alaska thread, let me tell ya, I used to live in Anchorage, and in 1990 or '91, I traded a Buckmark for a .22 revolver at a gunshow. I was just beginning to learn what little I know about guns and didn't know to check the cylinder for alignment etc. It was keyholing, so I took it to a garage gunsmith. It broke. The gunsmith wrote me out a check and I let him keep the gun for parts. I thought that was more than fair of him and wished him well. Probably it had a crack in it when the guy traded it to me, but the gunsmith felt real bad about it and insisted that he pay me what I had into it. When I first looked at the WWG website a few weeks ago, I saw a name that (faintly) rang a bell. By any chance were you a garage gunsmith back then?

aside from visiting gunshops, make sure to pencil in some range time, and uhh, a quick (or not so quick) stop at what we call the BushCo, if thats your bag o' tea. :D they have some, ummm, great souvenirs.

Before my time. We actually opened in 91 but in a regular storefront.

Be careful what souvenirs you pick up at the bush. :uhoh: :D
I need to make some time to get over and see your shop next time I'm up in Anchorage. I just have to figure out how to explain the sudden loss of funds to the wife. :uhoh:
