I sent my P-32 back to Kel-Tec for a "tune up" - it was one of the early production SNs, and it finally got into the habit of light striking. The repair dept. totally replaced everything they could. New grip, new trigger, new extractor, new internals, new springs, etc. It seems to work flawlessly. The trigger is a lot firmer, and the springs are stronger. The trigger pull is up a little - maybe a pound.

The receipt says the gun was in on the 3rd and out on the 12th. Pretty good. Priority next day air back to me.

Kel-Tec gets another big thumbs up from me!

Good report on what's typical with KT's customer service. :neener:

It had the black top end when I bought it and before I fired it, I sent the black top back for a hard-chrome "upgrade". I think that cost me 20 bucks. About a year or two later, although my P-32 had no problems, I decided to "dress it up". A gray grip frame and silver trigger shoe would look nice with the hard chrome top. So, on a wednesday, I sent my P-32 to Kel-Tec via "overnight" to have that done. To my astonishment (!), I received my P-32 back on FRIDAY of THE SAME WEEK! Not only did it have a gray grip frame and silver trigger shoe, it had all new springs, plus from the list of parts that they'd replaced, it looked like EVERYTHING was new! In addition, they had sent me a new magazine. As I read down the long list of parts to see what my "cost" would be, I found the total at the bottom of the second page. It said -0-! Zero, Zip, Nada.
I have no idea how K-T could replace
EVERYTHING plus get my pistol back to me in TWO days. I was, and am impressed.

You can't knock KelTec's customer service. But I'm gonna do it anyway. :D

I keep hearing about people who send in their guns for something that isn't a real repair (trigger shoe, grip change, something...) and when they get the gun back, KelTec has replaced perfectly functional, tested, proven internals with untested, unproven new parts that may or may not work. Then you have to go through the function-testing/break-in period all over again to see if your new gun needs to be "fixed". If ain't broke...

And that's not counting any Fluff and Buff work that you lose when your old parts are removed.

I mean...what if BlackHawk had to send his gun in... :D

I like the trigger shoe. It looks good and feels good. Some people used to say that the trigger shoe extended out of the trigger guard further than it should. However, mine does not. I also find that it fits the pad of my index finger perfectly so my finger doesn't go beyond the trigger past my first knuckle. I'm glad I got one. The trigger feels much better.
