Been seeing them for $430 at local gunshows. You got a good deal. I managed to find a used one for $300. The gun was lightly used and I wasn't really sure I'd like the XD. Turns out I did well by not buying new. I don't care for it too much. I don't dislike it enough to get rid of it, but I don't like it as much as either my G17 or G19. Nothing wrong with the gun, it just doesn't do it for me. It works just fine. Sights are properly regulated and shoots (reasonably) to the point of aim. Reliability is 100%.

Sounds like you done good! ;) I see them in shops in the $450-$470 range but you still have to add tax & dros
