I'm thinking about getting an 870 marine magnum. Someone told me that they will not accept all 870 accessories.
Does anyone have any experience with these. I would mainly consider a pistol grip butt stock and a side saddle.
Thanks, malada

The 870 Marine won't accept larger capacity side saddles, because the Marine has the longer, sporting length fore end.
In order to mount a side saddle, you will need to either cut the fore end off shorter, or replace it with a Police length fore end.
Other than that, all accessories I know of will fit fine on the Marine Model.

When a buddy of mine bought his MM it already had that pistol-grip butt stock and short fore-end. Needless to say the stocks came off pronto and were replaced with factory police plastic. This was good but we have since replaced the factory stuff with Hogue and it is fantastic. I don't even like synthetic stocks but I would consider a set of Hogue's. His MM also runs a +3 MM extension and a 20" Express Rifle-sited barrel. Nice shotty IMHO.
He also has a sidesaddle and a picatinny rail setup from Sidearmor on this gun.
I can not imagine an accessory that would not fit a MM if it fits any 870.
