Any links, tips, diagrams, etc. that you could post (more pictures the better, as I'm a visual guy) are much appreciated to teach me how to strip and clean an AR-15.

Any other general info/tips/bits of wisdom are much appreciated.

Also; I need to know how to strip it as far down as possible, as the rifle looks like it hasn't been touched (not even cleaned) in a loooooong time and looks like it needs some TLC. Is this easily done, or do I need to take it to an armorer?

For those that don't know me, I am experienced with guns and would be comfortable attempting to strip it myself, unless it really is not advised that I do.

Thank you!
Drjones

Start with these manuals:

http://www.ar15.com/content/manuals/

Hmmm... they don't seem to work.

Try this:

A-ha... this one works
