Does anyone have experience, good or bad, with the Bonanza Coax press? I am particularly interested in how the floating shellholder works with a neck sizing die...it seems to me that if the base of the case is floating, and the die dosen't locate the case body, neck alignment would be random...am I missing anything? I just picked one up, second hand, and haven't had time to play with it. Any experience you are willing to share would be appreciated. Thanks.

The reason my reply is so late is that I just joined. I have been reloading for many years. My current manual presses are the RCBS Rockchucker and the Bonanza Coax. I only use the Bonanza with the benchrest dies for my most important loading. For mass loading, I will use the Rockchucker or one of the Dillons. The Bonanza press is used, by me, by starting to load the brass into the die. As I approach the die, I will hold the brass between two fingers to aid it in starting into the die, will align it square with the die. Because I am loading the cartridge for shooting groups, I don't mind taking the extra time to help it along. Hope this helps.

They are great presses. I purchased my Bonanza back in the early 70s. It is my primary single stage press. I noticed on a program about our military snipers that a coax press was being used to assemble their rifle ammo.
