Troops at Home

Just a point to ponder, but with the large buildup of troops and supplies being stationed in the Middle East, having pulled them out of the States and Europe, what is the status or number of troops on standby in America? Seems to me that all the eggs are in one basket, so to speak. Also, with the amount of troops stationed in the Middle East, I assume in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Isreal (because I don't exactly know where they are assembling), what would happen if there were a so-called call-to-arms by the Muslim world? I would think that these countries whre the US troops are assembling are pretty much surrounded by a sea of Islamic countries in which the vast majority hate the US. Not so far as to say 'surrounded or encircled', but is there a problem with my reasoning?

Your forgetting that Israel could single handedly deal with most of the Arab world by Nuking them.

Ah yes, nukes, the magical answer to all the world's problems, the veritable Swiss Army knife of WMD's. I love the term WMD, it rolls off the tongue like SUV, and is used almost as much....
Have a problem with someone, NUKE 'em. Excellent.

Maybe NATO should send some guys over here since they aint doing much over in the desert. Yea, right:cuss:

Just take a deep breat, sit back, and then think about "human nature."
Things always go in circles.
We repeat history all the time.
The weapons just get worse and worse.
I already have a space ship on standby so I can evacuate the planet.
