What's a mint Model 16-4, 32mag, with 8&3/8" barrel, with box and papers worth? I've seen them for sale as high as $1200 on Gunsamerica, but that can't be right.

Also a 631 Ladysmith 32mag with the snub barrel, excellent, but no box or papers.

I haven't seen too many of either of these around.

Thanks.

There were only 8800 full lugged M16s made and the long barreled model are probably few in numbers. They will command a premium, but I think that's too high.
For several years I have seached for a M16-3 w/6" barrel to complete my set. Only 3630 were made for the entire run of the K32s (1947 thru 1974). I had found just 2 for sale and they were well over $700, but neither was a -3 model. I will have to dig deep in my pockets if and when I do find one.

Majic, are you talking about 8800 of the early 90's guns or the older model ones? The one I'm looking at it is one of the '90-'91 made guns.

Also, how tough is it to fire one of these 8", full underlug, K frames offhand. I don't shoot from a bench, so it may be too heavy for me to enjoy.

Someone must know something about the 631's. Anyone? Tamara, maybe?

There were 8800 units of the later M16-4 from 1989 thru 1992.
I personally don't care for them as they do tend to be muzzle heavy with the long barrel and full lug.

That's kinda how I thought they would be.
