Next Tuesday, Feb. 18th, is the primary for the state supreme court race. There are three candidates:
Edward Brunner. He's being endorsed by state Senator Robert Jauch and Representative Frank Boyle, who are probably the two most anti-gun legislators in the state.
Paul Higgenbotham. He's a Madison type, and endorsed by the usual Madison Democrats.
Pat Roggensack. While I haven't been able to find anything about her with regard to guns, she's being endorsed by some pretty gun-friendly legislators, and has the backing of the state Republican Party and law enforcement.
Remember that our effort to get concealed carry now in part hangs on the decision of the state supreme court in two cases heard last year. Future gun rights may hang on such decisions as well.
Vote on Tuesday.
