Those of you interested in boycotting French products should set your sights higher than vin ordinaire, camembert, and Perrier. Here are a few French companies you may have heard of.

1. Rossignol - maker of skis and sports equipment.
2. Michelin - there's a good chance you are rolling on them.
3. Aire Liquide - maker of industrial gases.
4. Fina Petroleum - not in the Pacific Northwest, thank God.
5. Vivendi Universal - Universal Studios, Def Jam Records, the
USA Network, and Seagrams, among others.
6. Schlumberger - oilfield services.
7. Thomson Electronics - RCA, GE, and Pro Scan consumer
electronics.

Just remember, when you boycott these companies you are also boycotting American workers.

Dont forget Airbus (wont lose any US jobs except airlines, and those are toast anyway) and Unilever (you'll have to give up your Chunky Monkey B&J ice cream!) . It's pretty difficult to boycott an entire country's products these days w/ international corporations, but I'll give it a shot.

I've already banned Michelins from my car, due to poor performance and high cost. Pirelli or Dunlop for me.

One product you won't be adding to the list is deodorant. Or soap. :D

Oh, about Ben & Jerry's. They've always been owned by anti-Americans. Socialist Baskin-Robbins is more to the point.
