Check that thing out. I don't know what the heck I would do with it, but I want one. :)

Forget the gun. Where can I get the album/soundtrack for that demo?!
"You talking to me?"
Always wanted to use that in a post. I pick the biggest guy that shoots the fastest shotgun around here AND is a moderator as well to use it on...never said I was real smart now did I?
I may be a "purist" , don't mean I'm a total fuddy duddy. ROSCO - has a nice ring to it . I could do that.
They got a wood stock and blued steel version? :p
I dunno maybe I'd have a better chance of "sneaking" one in - to use during a round of flurries with the Wood stock and Blue version. :D

BLOA/UU/R!
Buy Lots Of Ammo/Use Up/Repeat
Denny it does look heavy, I agree.
I can just imagine the trap house not being able to keep up...especially if a fella had say the option to use a NY reload...grab another Roscoe and continue...well that is once the LaPorte's are filled up again. :p
Talk about running a line and popping steels...
Skunk - Great Acronymn, Dave will be proud.

Is that legal? If so, where can I get one?

Neat idea I guess but nothing I'd be interested in myself. Seems more of an attention getter than anything. First thing that came to my mind - heavy!

I like it! With one in the chamber, you should be able to shoot a round of five-stand without having to reload.
It would make Crazy Quail a piece of cake.
Come to think of it... last fall it sounded like a couple guys on an adjacent farm were field-testing the prototype on some pheasants. Of course, when I saw them walking back to their truck, their vests looked mighty light. ;) :D
Trapper...I like the way you think.
Crazy Quail....< evil laugh>....I have always wanted to tell the puller...."I am still waiting...". :D
Trapper and I need 4 guns, 2 each, Start the camera, start the flurries...wait we we need Correia in on this...3 man teams are more fun...make it 6 guns,...
Too many shotgunners on this board...Tell ROSCOE we want the THR gang to test these...all in the name of T&E of course...

sm - How about you plug one of the mag tubes all the way, and block the others to a single shell...
... and then watch the game wardens short circuit trying to figure out if it's legal for migratory birds? :D

Leesee, 24 rounds of ammo weighs in at over 4 lbs. Add the weight extension and voila! A 15 lb shotgun.
Up side, there'll be little muzzle rise until you get nearly empty....
Next week, converting to belt feed.

Trapper,
For the most part around here we have had some pretty good Game Wardens. Even some ladies . There was one though , stepping , fetching, scratching his head.
Frustrated.
The Win 1400 - we all know- it does not have a plug, don't need a Plug...well I dunno where this fella went to "Game Warden School" - but he was quite sure this gun had to have a plug. Another Game Warden , a lady, sharp lady , ended up explaining "it " to him.
This Fella needs to meet ROSCOE :D
This is the same Game Warden that was trying to follow "the path" through the field of Uncut Sunflowers a certain member * ahem* had used. Hey the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line - I took a straight line.
Said GW "just knew" I was up to no good. He "just knew" that me taking a turn in mid field in the Clump of Trees "meant" I was stashing game over the limit. No -I had stopped to tinkle.
So there we are having BBQ for lunch ,after the morning dove shoot, the lady game warden was invited to stop by and join us. She gets a radio call " I'm stuck in a ditch in the midst of such and such field".
I get this look from her, a big grinning laugh, she gains composure...radio's back..." I am down at such and such farm, I have some suspicious seed ...might be baiting...it may be a bit before I head your way".
She turns to me again "He doesn't know about the ditch than runs in the middle of that field does he?. I replied " he does now. :D
He doesn't know about the old cattle crossing that was taken out there does he? I replied " I won't tell if you won't tell". :D
Well it was agreed to NOT tell him. There are two big trees - you start at one and drive in a straight line toward the other.
So we finshed lunch, complete with dessert- fried apple pies :D
We had forgotten all about the heat, and humidity. I guess the hunting gods were on our side because it clouded up and we had a cool breeze. Coupled with the thought of this "fellow" stuck in the midst of uncut sunflowers.
45 minutes or so later , we show up and use her G&F vehicle's wench and pull him out. He cannot figure out how I made it, and he couldn't. " He has a small truck...over there is his path...he probably went down the ditch and eased up....not headed straight into the darn thing and burying both front wheels and getting high centered...where'd you learn to drive...Sears Roebuck catalog? ".
[ We 3 innocent dove hunters are trying to not bust a gut and hurt ourselves upon hearing that...it was difficult, real difficult]:D
Sounded good to me...I told you she was sharp on her feet.
Yes if this GW is still around he would go into sensory overload upon seeing ROSCOE.

Hmm....
MD's game laws are sensible for once when it comes to mag capacity for deer hunting. Any size magazine is legit but only 8 rounds can be loaded. A boon to Garand owners.
So, one could sally forth with this gadget in pursuit of the wily Whitetail, Sika or Fallow deer with one tube loaded with 8 slugs and be nothing to the Critter Constabulary except a case of the jibbering conniptions.

Wow that sure looks fun! One advantage to such a heavy shotgun is after shooting that one for a few weeks, our other shotguns will feel feather light!

WHERE CAN I GET ONE???
This would be the ideal thing for shotgun competition. So the question no one has answered, although I'm not really sure I care, is it legal? How much? Where do I get mine? Now?
One consideration: The Benelli can be finicky, being recoil-operated. With this much extra weight, where do I get a light enough recoil spring? I already bought a 25% reduced recoil spring from Wolff because my Benelli wouldn't cycle reliably with a fully loaded sidesaddle (necessary for competition). I haven't made it to the range to test it yet.

I found this link on www.brianenos.com I think that the creators are Italian 3gunners.
Legal here? Maybe in September. :)

Larry ,
At your size ,you show and uncase that thing and Grin real big, prize monies are just going to be given to you without a shot being fired.
:D
Oh my ...upon seeing Larry and ROSCOE ...some fellow with a "Ultimate Shotgun"...scampering across the parking lot, done wet himself and skinned his knee...:p

A select-fire 20ga Saiga with a 25rd drum looked better balanced. I asked the manufacturer what good it was and he looked at me like I was daft: "It is FUN, do you't you understand that concept!?"

I have my theories about guns and ammo.
One is a lot of guns and ammo are like fishing lures, not designed to catch fish, instead the fisherman's wallet.
Another is dove season was invented to sell shotgun shells, the gummit figured out a way to make money off this as well.
I appreciate the fun factor, I still grin real big with a single shot .410, be it dove hunting, using slugs to "hit that rock over yonder", or walking the woods , just toting one...taking it all in...

This would not be legal for most competition. USPSA has a max loaded of 10 in the tube and one in the chamber for Open class. Limited or Tactical would be 8 in the tube. Europe might be different. As far as a Benelli cycling, mine has worked with 25 on the gun.

Bill, I could see how it could pass muster for open class. The tube that is in the gun is the loaded capacity. The other tubes are speed loaders. You have to manually turn them into position. It isn't automatic.
Seriously, GAME ON! :)

I don't see why you couldn't simply plug each tube. If the federal regs say no more than 2 shells in the magazine tube, then so be it. They never said anything about more than one magazine tube.

I sent an email and asked the price and models that it would fit. Still have heard nothing. Anyone else tried to contact? Just curious... I suppose I could take some of the pics from the site and have a machinist make something....
