I'm not sure how Remington puts their ribs on, but they aren't soft soldered. Some modern ribs are "glued" on with a high-tech adhesive.
Where you really need to watch it with hot blue is on double barrel guns. These have the barrels soft soldered together, and they can come apart in the hot blue tank.
Worse, they can come ALMOST apart, and "finish the job" when they're shot a time or two.
If your rib isn't loose anywhere, you're Ok.

No, I haven't, but I doubt that the express or even the wingmaster are something other than hot tanked at the factory...so the answer would actually be yes, and so have you :D

The Remington vent rib barrels are furnace brazed and will hot blue just fine.
