IT'S FIXED!! Thanks to everyone who gave the advise. It was a cartridge stuck. Put the butt on the ground and kicked it, popped right out on first try. Before I reassembed, soaked the crap out of every part, oiled, and talked real nice to her. Thanks again!!

You may go through many thousands of rounds and never have another problem. The SKS may be one of the most underestimated rifles ever designed. If you haven't already, you might want to brush out the chamber real well before you try her again.
