Difference between "honors" and "reciprocity"t

I notice that some states "honor' certain states permits and have "reciprocity" with other states. what is the differnce between "honors" and "reciprocity"

Honors means that one state will honor(accept) another's licence, but the second state may not accept the first state's licence.
Recipricity(reciprocate) means that both states will accept either's licence.

As I understand it When say Michigan honors another states CWP (Ohio for example) Ohio cwp holders can carry in Michigan , but Michigan CWP holders can't carry in Ohio since Ohio doesn't honor Michigan residents CWP. If they had reciprocity Ohio holders could carry in Michigan and Michigan holders could carry in Ohio

If you aren't aware, www.packing.org is the best place on the web for information related to carrying concealed. Friendly folks mostly, but they do expect you to use the huge database of information first.
