Mike and I were picking up some breakfast at McD's before the "Sporting Rifle" match in Raton, and saw this leading the front page of the Sunday Edition.

Not much "real" news in Pueblo, I guess ?!

I was wondering if he was going to mention that that us regular folk can shoot 3 gun matches. You don't have to be a LEO.

also Eddie is already famous..he is on the closing credits of American Shooter..

The match was an LEO 3-gun competition..but our area does have a couple of 3-gun clubs..

also the Chieftan awhile back ( couple of years ) did a nice profile on the Colorado State USPSA women's champion..

I wish they said, "AR-15's which are both fast and accurate, seem to dominate the 3gun rifle stages, being the prefered weapon of LEO and non-LEO alike."
Or mentioned, "Despite the prevalence of so-called 'combat shotguns' and 'assault rifles', no one has been shot accidentally at any of the matches, a testiment to the safety practices drilled into the shooters."
And of course, "Regular citizes consistantly win the major 3gun championships, despite the training afforded to LEO's"
