Anyone ever seen (in real life)/used one of these? I assume some people have seen these on the 'Net before, since the pic and description I've pulled are from SOG's website... WTH sort of round is the 12-bore 60mm???

"The new MAG 7 comes with 2 - 5Rd magazines that load the 12 gauge minishell (12 bore-60mm). These are the future of police security and home defense. Don't wait! Each one is tested by the manufacturer for the highest quality! 20" barrel; 37" overall." $249.95

Where the heck do you get ammo?

It doesn't use standard ammo. Defensive weapons should be chambered for commonly available ammo, for obvious reasons.

IIRC, this is a "Pump Forward" design. Opposite MOA from all other combat shotguns.

Finally, standard shotguns and ammo in trained hands are so effective there's not much room for improvement. So why get this?

Actually, as I remember it, it pumps in the standard fashion. One gun writer mentioned years ago that the forearm pinched his trigger finger while pumping the action to clear the weapon. (His finger was out of the trigger guard at the time.)
