greetings
buy most of my guns through davidsons. usually at least $100 cheaper than my local gun shop. anybody know of a web site cheaper than davidsons but that you consider totally reliable and would not give you a hassle about returning a gun if it was defective

I gotta "keep my vote for Davidson's". I can't imagine another co. that has that type of guarantee.

I got a SA Ultra Compact from Davidson's. The gun had problems with the slide stop-notch rounding off after 100 rounds. I sent it back and the other had the same problem. Sent it back and Davidson's let me choose 2 Rugers instead...Problem fixed!! I'm a fan!!

Local gunshop is a Davidsons distributor. I bought a SP101 and when it had problems the dealer sent it back, had a new one the next weekend. That one had problems too, again had a new gun the next week. Believe it or not, the third one had to go back! Had a new one in hand within a week, it's a keeper.
If I would have had to send the gun back to Ruger I'd probably still be waiting on the first one to get fixed.
