Inexpensive Glock 34 holster for IPSC?

I'm going to try out IPSC shooting with my new Glock 34 and I'm looking for an inexpensive holster to use. IPSC looks fun, but I'm not sure how much I'm going to do it, so I don't want to spend a lot on a holster (until I know more).
Can you recommend a good, inexpensive holster for a Glock 34?
Thanks,
J.

Get any Uncle Mike's or Fobus Kydex for a G-17. Cut the end off if necessary for the extra length. Get two Fobus double mag carriers. Should be able to get it all for 60 bucks. If you don't have a good belt, get one, wide and stiff. Another option is the Glock factory holsters.
Any of these will serve you fine indefinitely. No race holsters allowed in Production which is where you should be shooting it. Personally I use a Bladetech holster, very fast and the Techlok sits it out from the body. Three G-Code mag pouches and one Fobus double pouch in the back for 5 on the belt.

I use a Galco Armortek, $26. Isn't quite the full length for the G34, but it works.
Uncle Mike's is good too, I use their mag holders.
If you enjoy IPSC (and you will!), your next purchase should be a CR Speed belt. Trust me on this.

I will tell you a bit about my setup so you can get an idea of how little you can spend and still compete.
Bare minimums:
Fobus SA XD belt holster $18
2 Uncle Mikes double kydex mag pouches $14.95 a piece
Safariland 1.75 inch duty belt $34..95
I also sprung for a nice belt and an inner velcro belt.

Most inexpensive and usable holster is the Glock holster($12?), IMO. I've seen it sell for as low as $7 at the shows.
Have fun at your match! :)

If you are considering Uncle Mikes and Fobus, you might want to check out the Blade-Tech injection molded holsters. They are right in the same price range and have a little better fit and finish, IMO.
I own Fobus, and have used UM and BT injection molded. All of these holsters have an open bottom and will accommodate a 34 (I used the Fobus for a 34).
The Fobus has the most retention (in some cases, too much retention), and the UM and Blade-Tech are about the same. All three qualify as "good, inexpensive" holsters.

The bang for the Buck is the Uncle Mikes holster. It is sized for the 17/22 guns, but the bottom is open. The 34 will fit just fine. It also has a nice front sight tunnel that will allow you to use aftermarket front sights.
The Fobus holster just does not have a stiff enough belt mount. It is hard to draw the gun as the holster tends to cam out away from the body during the draw. This causes it to bind in the holster.
The uncle Mikes has a solid belt mount which allows you to draw straight up and out.
Don't waste your time on "paddle"mount holsters, I have seen too many of them come out, still on the gun.
There is a belt called the wilderness belt that works great for a gun belt.
It is nylon web with plastic stiffner inside where the holster would fit.
They are ajustable by a "D" ring and velcro closure. They cost about $35.
The 1 1/2 version is what many in our are use for both IDPA and USPSA Production.

My Fobus XD holster did have a run in with a heat source and some pliers. When I got it, there was just way too much retention. After modifying the trigger gaurd retention pieces it has about half the retention it did from the factory. It is now much more use friendly for IPSC. The advantage to the bladetech are the adjustable retention screws.

I just got a Blade-Tech injection molded for my G35...measurable difference from the UM's.
Good luck,
