I was just wondering because my Dad has one. You see, I've heard good and bad things about the Makarov and Ruger 10/22 that he owns but I have yet to see much about the 915. Anyone have comments on it?

S&W autos do not seem to be very popular on these boards, in proportion to how many are actually in circulation. Atleast they do not generate very much discussion. Excluding the 10mm's of course, everyone seems to love those, me included.

I have a 910s and a bunch of pre-ban mags. I love it. The factory grips suck but a set of Hogues make it fill your hand very nicely. It is very accurate. I don't know if I got lucky with mine, but it is. I am not exagerating when I say this....this gun is 101% reliable. This pistol will eat ANY ammo I feed every time all the time. I have over 2000 rounds through mine and it just keeps feeling better. IMHO you get a lot of pistol for the money with S&W value series autoloaders.

Hmm... that's good to hear! :)

I do agree, though. I need new grips. The grips on mine are a bit rough feeling. I do love it and the grips help from any slipping.
