Be sure to have a chuckle about us Garand shooters at the 200 yard line in the Rattle Battle. I had four cartridges left at 200 yards last year, but I think some of our team had quite a few more. Our ringer is still in Iraq, but I think we'll field an OK antique rifle NTIT team.

Where you on the GCA Rattle Battle team, or did another team use Garands?

I wanted to sign up for the GCA team last year, but couldn't go. I'm hoping to try next year. Can you tell me about your experiences in the Rattle Battle.

I bet his "experience" will include riding the Garand. I wonder if their bodies just hovered a few inches above the ground while the guns were in continuous recoil, only to slam to earth when the clip ejected? :D
