After more than a year of hype and advertisements they still don't have the 12s on the shelf much less a 20. This is a road familiar to Ruger. Their much vaunted single barrel trap gun never did make it into full production.

I put my hands on a prototype that was at the Grand last summer. It wasn't too bad and this comes from someone who doesn't think very highly of the Red Label. However, I'd much rather have a Beretta 470 or an AyA Model 4 -- both of which are available in 20 gauge and available today.

If the Gold Label never hits the shelves I won't be surprised.

I hope I don't see it in 20 ga, not until finances are better anyway. I will end up buying the darn thing and causing civility to be lost on the home front if I see it.
