Myself and a friend both shoot in a 50' slow fire bullseye league. He shoots a Ruger GP100 with a 6" barrel. I shoot a T/C Contender with a 10" barrel.

GP100 Ammo:
Laser Cast 148 grn DEBBWC
3.5 grn of Win 231
Winchester Small Pistol Primers

Contender:
Laser Cast 148 grn DEBBWC
2.8 grn of Bullseye
Winchester Small Pistol Primers

Both loads are seated to 1.400" and have a light roll crimp into the crimp groove on the bullet.

Accuracy is the problem, bench resting both guns the best group I can achieve is 2" at 50'. I know these guns are capable of better. I have read alot about other powders, including Titegroup. If anyone has a good accurate load or any suggestions on this problem I will appreciate it.

Try Remington HBWCs, Midway sells them, real cheap too. Seat them flush, over 2.7gr Bullseye. They're messy, but they shoot like a laser beam.

I'm guessing your DEWC bullet is cast. The bullet may be a bit hard for your lite load. You may want to try more Bullseye, so the bullet will "bump up". I've had good luck with 3.7 grains.

Alternatively, you might try a different bullet. A 148 grain HBWC swaged bullet with 2.7 grains Bullseye is the "classic" target load, and for good reason.

Good Luck...

I'll agree with MoNsTeR. Try it, you'll like it.
