Anyone know of plans for a midsize Glock .45? In the 19 size range? I think Glock calls it their compact size.

The Glock 30 is so close in size to the 19 it is unbelieveable.

The G30 is a bit wider thru the slide and back-strap. But they are virtually the same height. The G19 has a 4" barrel while the G30 has a 3.78" barrel, IIRC.

Both are tough as a bank-vault. Both are as reliable as a stone axe.

I chose the G30...your results may be different.

Good Luck either way. You won't lose on this choice!

Cheers!

Thanks Mntneer I had not known that. I was looking at the 36 with a grip extension such as

But now I will look more closely at the 30. Thanks again.

IMO (we know what those are worth) what we really "need" is a single-stack G17 sized .45ACP. I'm sure the GAP is a fine cartridge, but I don't want to mess with buying another caliber.

My G21 is great, but it is a little bulky. A 1911 sized, single stack Glock .45ACP with say a 8+1 capacity would be the perfect carry gun, expecially with a G36 thickness slide.
