Fulton Armory Legacy FAR-15 Post-sunset?

ok. here's the deal. I finally decided I want an AR, and being somewhat of a history buff, the Legacy M16A1 clone that Fulton has out really does it for me. however, I'm thinking perhaps I should wait until September to pick one up, in case the AWB sunsets, because I'd prefer a real bayo lug and flashhider, seeing as I'm most interested in historical accuracy. (yes, I realize it's semi-auto. so be it.)
my question(s) is(are): does Fulton plan on offering this model with the authentic "evil" features post-AWB? will it cost more? if I buy it now, how much will it cost to have it properly retrofitted? should I just wait?

Have you tried contacting Fulton and asking them these questions?

yup. called today. the woman I spoke to couldn't answer my questions, and I guess "her guys" are down at Camp Perry. *shrug* I also posted on their BBS on their webpage, but haven't recieved a response.

currently an AR needs to have the the front sight base lug removed, the finish touched up, and the barrel device must be permanently attached
making a "pre ban" rifle is simpler
i would bet Fulton is gonna make a flash hider & lug equipted Legacy

the answer is YES.......
Fulton ALREADY sells a "pre-ban" config Legacy upper. if/when the sunset happens they simply stop shipping the "post-ban" complete rifles and everyone gets a REAL AR.
personally i wouldn't give FA the time of day, but that's been covered elsewhere.......

i think Sarco has 1/12 SP1 uppers
http://www.sarcoinc.com/
bushie has an "A1"
http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/uppers/a1ur.asp
they will build you an upper on this part with a 1/9 twist
but its not a slick side
it has a FA and a brass deflector hump...

it's Semantics but...
from what i can tell, NO one makes an "A1" upper any more, in fact i'm not sure if an A1 upper was ever readily available to those of us in the "civvy" world
Colt kept making the SP-1 a slickside untill they went to all A2s. every upper/rifle i've seen labled A1 has either been slick or a C7 (ie an A1 with a brass deflector)
and as noted Bushy as well as Olympic and others make A1-style rifles and uppers.
the only thing you get from Fulton that the others don't have. is the old (surplused, it AIN"T "new production") furniture and that stuff is a dime a dozen at the shows and many local gunshops.

the Legacy barrels are marked C MP, they appear to be NOS 1/12 Colt barrels

I will add that I've purchased two uppers from Fulton - a service match upper and a space gun upper. Both have the Kreiger barrel. The space gun upper is modified for a bolt handle on the right side. I've also purchased parts to complete a stripped Colt lower.
FYI, I found their customer service to be outstanding. The Fulton space gun upper replaced a fancy match upper from a big name gunsmith. The fancy upper took eight months for delivery and had to go back to be "fixed" which took several more months. The Fulton upper arrived in two days and has fuctioned flawlessly from day one.
I do not have any business or family relationship with them (other than being a customer).
