I just got the ExtremeOps and the Texas Ranger collector's edition tin knives both for under $40 bucks. These both normally go for over $60 bucks.
Happy hunting :D

Bought one a few months back, dirt cheap at $20. Wasn't worth it. Had to return it just a few days later.
The belt clip is a POS and bends and breaks way too easily.

I got one to experiment on. Ground off the bottom "lug" which was HUGE (and useless), then I ground the back of the handle to get rid of the HUGE useless flair, next was a little wave type modification to the HUGE top piece of metal. It works very well indeed and by golly it's now a lot lighter!
I carry it at work (since I have messed up two very nice Emersons) so I can thrash it. Picked through all the knives Big 5 had to get one that locked up right and didn't have play in the blade. Next up is a clip modification
I think most Big 5 knives are made in China or Pakistan. I bought a compass knife from them for $7 bucks and I think its worth it. I also love their rifle sales, especially when they have winchester and marlins for sale.

My Kershaw Vapor II was made in China and it is the best knife I have ever used.
