I can get a 1990 NIB 8 3/8" barrel for $500
I can also get a 6.5" barrel ported for $565.

Which would you get and why?

Is the 6 1/2" new, never been sold??

Is the 8 3/8" actually new, never been sold?

Or are they LNIB

Which balances the best for you? That will make a big difference in your shooting. The ports in the 6 incher will compare to the longer heavier barrel of the 8 3/3 incher in actual shooting.
I personally don't like either the long barrel or the ports.

Made in 1990 and it's never been sold?

I'd have none but the gravest doubts.

Standing Wolf I have done business with him many times in the past and he is honest. I bought a S&W 5903 from hin 2 years ago that was NIB and was made in 92 because it still had 2 original 15 round mags. He has a small shop and if it doesn't sell it just sits in his backroom until he discovered gunsamerica last year and now he is selling off his inventory.
