What holsters for Star Mdl B Supers?

Does anyone else have one of the Star model B Supers that are coming into the country right now?

I'd like to find a belt holster for the two I've got (great gun, BTW!).

What OTHER. currently manufactured gun is a good match in shape/size to the Star?

What holsters are you Star owners using?

Don't know if they still offer them, Milt Sparks used to fit holsters for the Star B series.

Looked through the Milt Sparks web site, and I don't see any listed for the Star B.

But thanks anyway!

Anyone else got any ideas?

Give them a call, ask for Tony or Jim, and see if they will help you. A design such as the 55BN could be fitted without much problem, but would need to be made to order. They prefer phone calls to e-mails, BTW.

Answered my own question. Dragged the Star to the gun show over the weekend and tried out holsters.

Ended up buying a used Bianchi 19L belt holster that was labeled ".45 Auto". It fits the Star like a glove.

Not a total surprise given the similarities in appearance to the 1911. My initial concerns about the Star's slide seeming slimmer ended up not being a factor.

99.9% of holsters for 1911's will work super on your super B.:D
