Which AR lower for my new upper?

Found a nice freefloat, stainless, 20" barrelled flat top upper at the gun show and am thinking about buying a lower to build a complete rifle. (I originally bought it thinking to play mix and match with my Armalite/Wilson M4gery carbine.) Seems silly to match a collapsible or skeleton stock with a longer and heavier barrel, and I'm thinking about buying a Bushie match grade lower with the two-stage competition trigger and the weighted full length stock even though I'm not usually crazy about the look of full stock ARs. Any thoughts from the AR builders in the house?

Second question: does it make sense to buy a collapsible stock now for later use when the ban ends (to put on a carbine, not the above rifle), or to wait? I still don't really have a grasp on what prices are likely to do in the next month or so.

Ameetech is receiving rave reviews, and they have some great prices for stripped lowers. Mega Machine and Grizzly are also good options for nearly dirt cheap.

I've been really curious about the new CMC drop-in housed trigger assembly. Looks really cool, and it's a no-brainer for DIY installation.

Check out www.ar15.com for the latest in reviews, group-buys and factory offers.

And, good luck with your latest project.

If you can stand the backorder, Eagle Firearms has RRA complete lowers from under $200. Fit/finish is excellent and customer service is first rate.

Bushmaster, Eagle Arms/Armalite, Rock River, and Lauer lowers are all excellent.

I got one Lauer lower, pictured below:

Due to the marks below the serial number, I sent it back and am awaiting another....

Hopefully it will be in early next week. Minus the marks in the finish in my old one, this is my favorite lower.

BTW, this is what I'm thinking of putting on there:

Bushmaster DCM Complete Lower Receiver Assembly with A2 Buttstock, Competition Weight, Pistol Grip and Two Stage Trigger

...but with the Hogue grip instead of the standard one.

OK, it's a pretty generic-looking picture. Bushie makes great stuff but their website is pretty blah. *sigh*

BM is fine, but pricey.
I have a BM M4gery, and I have a RRA Varmint Upper.
Yes, it's a bit nose heavy with that BM fixed telestock ...
When I get around to saving some $, I'll probably go with a complete RRA NM Lower, w/ 2 stage trigger.
Have thought of bldg the lower, but it seems that getting all the parts together that I want (vs. what you get in the parts kits), ends up close to just buying the lower complete.

What lower parts would you want that don't come in the kit?

Like 2-stage parts, or something along that line?

Go to www.adcofirearms.com and look at the RRA complete lower. I think I paid $215 for one. Has the A2 stock and the standard trigger. Excellent fit and color match to the Bushy upper I mated it with. Good people at ADCO, $4 shipping charge, and great customer service if needed.

Thanks,
I have the ADCO site bookmarked.
Think I'd be going for the NM lower for ~300, plus shipping, plus $35 for the transfer.

NEtracker:

If you are going for the National Match RRA lower, I highly recommend having Adco upgrade it to the White Oak/John Holliger tuned trigger for an extra $20 or so (can't remember the exact cost). VERY nice trigger......well worth the extra cost.

I second that opinion. The Holliger trigger is listed at around $110-$115 depending on whether you look at the White Oak Precision or White Oak Armament site.

Edit for spelling.
