I visited it at the shop yesterday and held it - But I couldn't take her home yet. :mad:

VERY NICE!!! Size and grip of the P-01, but heft closer to a full sized CZ-75B. Very solid, chiseled look. Machining is beautiful and more precise than i'm accustomed to ( not to knock the CZ look though ).

It is noticeable heavier than my PCR - but the solidness lends a feel of confidence in your hand.

Mine is serial number 91X. I don't know what serial number started this particular run, but there are supposedly only 80 made.

I can't wait to bring it home. I wanna put Heinie's or Big Dots on it, give it an HBE holster to rest in, and give it a set of Hakan's as a gift from me to it. :D

I love mine, shoots .40 with the same felt recoil and muzzle flip as my full size CZ 75B in 9mm. Just to mock me my dealer has ANOTHER CZ 85 Compact in the case. I'm thinking of buying it for the "collector value" and as a backup in case my other is ever confiscated as evidence or some such nonsense. Don't have the funds right now and have other projects I want to do so open invetation to anyone out there to buy it, possibly the last one available in the US.

Sounds great Snowman! I too recognize the potential collector value, but I decided to hell with that. CZ's are fantastic and built to be shot . . . . . . And that's just what i'm gonna do!

I'll have it by month's end.
