Is there someplace I can rent full auto guns in eastern PA?

Yes, there is a gun shop and range just north of I-80 near the Delaware Water Gap. Can't recall the name right now. Have to buy the ammo from them.

Ready, Aim Fire! on 13 in Bristol right by the PA turn pike entrance just got an UZI to rent out and has an AR-15 set up with 3 round burst in 9mm to rent.
You can also take your .223 to their range and shoot indoors but only by using their frangable ammo.

Guys thanks for your help my friend and I plan on going to the Philly show on 8/28 and when done there head up the road to the classic pistol range and rent the silenced MP5. That should make for a fulfilling day.
geekWithA.45 when you shot there were you able to bring in your own ammo?

Is there a gun show on 8/28? If so, where at?
I usually go to the quarterly valley forge shows, but don't know of any others.

I usually go to X-Ring in Newark. The staff is a little friendly and they're a lot more friendly to EBR's and such.

Re: bringing your own ammo: I can't say for sure...I happened to buy it there, so I didn't notice whether that was required or not. My guess is that you can bring your own, I normally bring my own ammo for my own guns when I go. BTW, it's one of the nicer ranges, albeit crowded.
BTW, the MP5 was not surpressed, IIRC. But then again, they've got a small pile of class IIIs for rent. :)

If you do Target master on 202, it will cost $12 per hour for the lane $1 for the backer, $20 for the full auto, which will be MP5, M4, and one or two other configurations of colt or HK whos name / model escapes me.
In addition you will be required to buy their ammo only which is remington UMC, and is reasonably priced for UMC.
So figure on spending $130 + for a half an hour of fun.
Years ago before I joined two private clubs, I used to be a member there.
The final time I shot there was when some dork shot up the ceiling with an MP5 he had rented when he froze on a full magazine in the lane next to me.
Why the range officer let him load the full mag when he said he had never fired a machinegun before was beyond me. Hopefully they only let you load 5 till you get the hang of it now.
I heard the bullets riccochet past my head. While the range officer standing over the dork and his rental yelled cease fire cease fire, and I hit the deck!
I told Tommy (the owner), he couldnt pay me to shoot on the range there ever again. They do have good prices on some firearms and a nice selection of unusual colts and S&Ws.
I bought two anshutz rifles there last year at $200 less than my club FFL could get them for wholesale.:D

I believe most places that rent firearms require you to use their own ammo, in order to prevent potential damage to their guns.

RE: Classic Pistol
You can bring your own ammo, but only for your own guns. For their rentals, you must buy from them.
Last I knew, they had 2 MP5s - one suppressed, one not. They also had an M-16 and a Thompson. I saw the suppressed in the beginning of July.

According to their website, they have a suppressed MP5, unsuppressed MP5, UMP 45, and a Thompson.

Well Classic pistol gets the vote because they are closest to the Philly Armory gun show. Thank you all for you insight.
